Paradise Grey is the artist name of Dave Wheels.
Dave rose to prominence as one of the Higher Intelligence Agency, famed for their live performances across Europe and their Oscillate events in the UK (throughout the 90s).
In the last year Dave has played live improvised sets at Freerotation festival and Gottwood festival, both by invitation of legendary DJ and musician Move D, in addition to recently releasing a double vinyl album with German sound master Benjamin Brunn on Berlin’s Sushitech records.
Dave is presenting his new alter-ego for us at Boxjam. In Dave’s words:
“Paradise Grey is my geometric music created from a single sound source without computer or screens, pre-arrangement or production. Often unpredictable, It can be ambient or ‘dancing’ music depending on the environment”
