Urban Exploration are a loose collective of techno producers and DJs, noise makers and visual artists, who have been working together in the studio since 2011.
Their audiovisual work is often improvised and makes use of field recordings and photographs taken exploring abandoned and neglected parts of the city.
The group have recently released a trilogy of albums on their own record label, Crooked Acres, which has received plaudits from The Wire magazine. Boxjam is a very rare opportunity to see UE perform live.
